God give us people to love, to receive his love, to teach and to be teach by others. In the case of Rev. Jun Basuil, he was a person that gave love and teach others with an amazing humble heart. You will be in our hearts for all this precious moments, always giving the best of you for the sake of others.
I had the privilege to meet him when I was visiting my wife in Philippines, and we spend quite good time while I was in the Unification church HQ in Manila city. I was very amazed by his attitude and concern about my relationship with my wife. Also he was very worry about members as well he could manage. He was worry about blessing candidates a lot, he always was looking in the purpose of the husbands to be matched by True Parents, and how well they are in their life of faith. I had few moments of public life with him and he was an awesome leader.
Also we had as couple the opportunity to visit his family. Young members were too happy to visit his house due to the facilities the neighborhood has, but beyond of the external comfort, the guidance and careful instructions of Rev. Basuil were a very precious gift. We were very happy to share beautiful moments that our memories will value on the next years.
I pray for the new leadership in Philippines, that can be united and focused on the directions given by our True Parents. rev. Basuil was an example for all the ones who know him about how to be a successful man in life, business, family and religious life.
See you there in the spiritual world, our steps in this land can be count, but there you can keep going with us all time with love and passion for God and True Parents.
